How does the process work?
Start out by reviewing the information on this website, including the Pricing Page, before booking. Then, head on over to the Schedule Your Appointment Page, and select which location you’d like and select your date and time. Then, once we’ve received your booking, we will reach out to you directly to schedule your Portrait Reveal Session. Your personal portrait reveal will take place about two weeks after your portrait session at our downtown Hendersonville studio, located at 300D N. Main Street.
How should I dress & prepare my family for our portrait session?
We are a big fan of classics & neutrals here at JBP! You can never go wrong with simple outfits. Creams, neutrals, and warm browns and burgundies will look great with Fall Foliage — but we’ve also had people wear dark emeralds and navy and that looks great, too! Stay away from neon green or bright tomato red. Avoid shirts with logos.
Can we get individual photos of our family members taken at the same appointment?
Yes! Our first goal will be to capture that perfect portrait of your whole family together. Then if time remains, we’ll happily capture other groupings and poses upon request.
Is there an order minimum?
Not at all. When we meet again for your personal portrait reveal session, we will go through the final images together, and there is no obligation to spend a certain amount. Only order what you love!
Is there a limit to the number of people that can be photographed per session?
Due to time and location constraints, our Colors of Fall sessions are limited to six members of your immediate household. If you have a larger group you would like us to capture, just reach out to us and we’ll be happy to discuss our personalized fall family portrait sessions with you.
Can I order online?
No. Online ordering is not available. All orders must be placed in person at the studio during your personal portrait reveal session so we can best serve you. Trust me, after being a photographer for over a decade — it’s easiest this way!
